Key Takeaways

In our 3 November 2026 check, Totiva was cheaper than Manual at all 11 compared ED packs. Totiva has no subscription, a free consultation and you only pay if approved. Check any pharmacy on the GPhC register.

At Totiva, you pay one standard price for your treatment. There is no subscription and no introductory offer that rises later. The consultation is free, and you only pay if a clinician approves your treatment.

Among the packs we compared, Totiva's sildenafil starts from £12.99, tadalafil from £7.49 and Viagra Connect® from £32.99. At Manual, sildenafil starts from £30, tadalafil from £24 and Viagra Connect from £64.

Totiva Health is a GPhC-registered pharmacy (registration 9012997), run by ZapMeds Limited. The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) regulates pharmacies in Great Britain. You can look up any pharmacy, including Totiva and Manual, on the GPhC website.

Not sure which treatment is right for you?

How the pricing works at each pharmacy#

The price of a pack is only part of the picture. How and when you pay matters too.

Totiva#

You fill in a free online consultation. A UK-registered prescriber reviews your answers. If treatment is suitable, you choose your medicine and pay then. If you are not approved, you pay nothing.

There is no subscription. You reorder when you need more, at the same standard price you paid the first time. There is no low first-order price that jumps later. You can see the full range and current prices on our ED page.

Manual#

Manual is a subscription model. The consultation fee is free, but you pay upfront. The tables above show Manual's standard pack prices for sildenafil, tadalafil and Viagra Connect on 3 November 2026.

Before you pay, read the terms on the order page so you know how the subscription works. When you compare, look at the price of the same pack. A first-order offer can look cheaper, but it may not be what you pay each time.

Which is cheaper, Totiva or Manual?#

In our check, Totiva was cheaper at every compared pack. That is 11 out of 11 packs, across sildenafil, tadalafil and Viagra Connect.

A fair comparison means matching 3 things: the same medicine, the same strength and the same number of tablets. Comparing a 4-tablet pack with an 8-tablet pack, or a 50mg dose with a 100mg dose, will give you a misleading answer.

Support and service#

ED can be awkward to talk about, so it helps to reach a real person when you have a question.

At Totiva#

  • Support comes from people, not bots.
  • Prescribing decisions are made by UK-registered clinicians.
  • You do not need to send awkward photos as part of your consultation.
  • A separate identity check, such as a face match, may still be needed. This helps confirm the person ordering is the person being treated.

Is Manual legit?#

The simplest way to check whether any online pharmacy is legitimate is to look it up yourself. Every pharmacy in Great Britain must be registered with the GPhC. You can search the online register by name or registration number.

The GPhC also inspects pharmacies and publishes the reports. Reading the latest report tells you how a pharmacy performed against the standards. Do this for Manual, and for any other pharmacy you are thinking of using.

Totiva's registration number is 9012997. Totiva passed its most recent GPhC inspection.

Reading reviews of online pharmacies#

Reviews can tell you a lot about how a pharmacy treats its patients. A star rating on its own tells you very little. Here is how to get more from them:

  • Look at recent reviews. Services change. A review from 3 years ago may not reflect how things work now.
  • Read the negative ones and the replies. How a pharmacy responds to a complaint says a lot about its service.
  • Watch for patterns. One late delivery is bad luck. The same problem in many reviews is a trend.
  • Separate a pharmacy complaint from a side effect. A headache from sildenafil is a known side effect of the medicine. It is not a sign the pharmacy did something wrong.

Who each service may suit#

Both services supply ED treatment online. The right choice depends on what matters most to you.

Manual may suit you if:#

  • You have checked it on the GPhC register and are happy with what you find.
  • You have read the current price for the exact pack you want and are comfortable with it.

Totiva may suit you if:#

  • You want the lower price. Totiva was cheaper at every compared pack in our check.
  • You prefer no subscription and want to order only when you need to.
  • You want to pay nothing unless your treatment is approved.
  • You would rather speak to people, not bots.

Which medicine suits you is a clinical decision. Your prescriber will help you choose based on your health and your answers.

Checking any online pharmacy in the UK#

Sildenafil and tadalafil for ED are prescription-only medicines. That means you need a consultation with a prescriber before you can get them. Viagra Connect is a pharmacy medicine. You do not need a prescription, but a pharmacist still needs to check it is safe for you.

Before you order from any online pharmacy, check these things:

  • The GPhC register. The pharmacy should be listed, with a registration number you can search.
  • The inspection report. The GPhC publishes these, so you can see how the pharmacy performed.
  • No prescription medicine without a consultation. A site that sells sildenafil or tadalafil with no health questions is a warning sign.
  • No social-media sellers. Medicines sold through social media or messaging apps may be fake or unsafe. The MHRA warns that these can contain the wrong dose or harmful ingredients.

A consultation does not guarantee you will get a supply. A responsible prescriber will say no if a medicine is not safe for you. Totiva's ED consultation is for men aged 18 to 75.

When to speak to a clinician#

ED medicines are safe for most men, but not for everyone. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before you take them if any of these apply:

  • You take nitrates (such as GTN spray for angina) or riociguat (a medicine for lung blood pressure).
  • You get chest pain, including during exercise or sex.
  • You have had a stroke or heart attack recently.
  • You have had an erection that would not go away.
  • You have noticed a sudden change in your vision or hearing.

An erection that lasts more than 4 hours needs urgent medical help. So does chest pain during sex. Call 999 or go to A&E. Do not wait to see if it settles.

If you would like to find out whether ED treatment is right for you, you can start a free consultation. A UK clinician will review your answers, and you only pay if your treatment is approved.
