Key Takeaways
On 3 November 2026, Totiva was cheaper than LloydsPharmacy at all 20 compared ED packs. Totiva has a free consultation, no subscription, and you only pay if approved. Check any pharmacy on the GPhC register before ordering.
At Totiva, you pay one standard price for your ED treatment. There's no subscription and no introductory deal that rises later. You only pay if a clinician approves your treatment.
Among the packs we compared, Totiva's prices start at £6.99 for sildenafil, £7.49 for tadalafil, £14.99 for daily tadalafil and £19.49 for Viagra Connect®. At LloydsPharmacy, the same packs start at £15, £25, £48 and £21.95 as one-off purchases. LloydsPharmacy also offers a subscription for items, but we compare its one-off prices because Totiva has no subscription.
Totiva is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), the regulator for pharmacies in Great Britain, under number 9012997. You can look up any pharmacy, including LloydsPharmacy, on the GPhC website.

Not sure which treatment is right for you?
How the pricing works at each pharmacy#
Totiva#
The consultation is free. A UK clinician reviews your answers first. Payment is only taken if your treatment is approved, so you pay nothing if it isn't.
There's no subscription. You order a pack, and you reorder when you need more. The price you see on your first order is the same standard price you pay next time. You can see every pack on our ED page at /services/ed.
LloydsPharmacy#
The consultation is free at LloydsPharmacy, but payment is taken upfront. The tables above show LloydsPharmacy's one-off pack prices on the date we checked. LloydsPharmacy also offers a subscription for items, which we haven't priced here. We compare one-off prices because Totiva has no subscription, so this is the like-for-like comparison. Read the terms at checkout before you pay.
When you compare, look at the same pack at its standard price. A first-order offer can make one pharmacy look lower than it will be on your next order.
Which is cheaper, Totiva or LloydsPharmacy?#
On 3 November 2026, Totiva was cheaper than LloydsPharmacy's one-off prices at every compared pack: 20 out of 20. The gap was smallest for Viagra Connect and largest for the higher strength tadalafil packs.
A fair comparison means the same medicine, the same strength and the same number of tablets. Comparing a 4-tablet pack at one pharmacy with a 16-tablet pack at another tells you very little.
Support and service#
ED can feel awkward to talk about, so it helps to know who you'll be dealing with when you have a question.
At Totiva#
- Support comes from people, not bots.
- Your consultation is reviewed by UK-registered clinicians.
- You won't be asked for awkward consultation photos.
- You may still be asked for an identity face match. This confirms you are who you say you are.
Is LloydsPharmacy legit?#
The simplest way to check is to do it yourself. Search for the pharmacy on the GPhC register. A registered pharmacy will have a registration number and an address. You can also read its latest GPhC inspection report, which shows how it met the standards on the day of the visit.
We haven't listed a registration number or inspection result for LloydsPharmacy here. The register is the source to trust.
Totiva's registration number is 9012997, and Totiva passed its most recent GPhC inspection. You can check both on the GPhC website.

Reading reviews of online pharmacies#
Reviews can be useful, but a star rating on its own doesn't tell you much. When you read LloydsPharmacy reviews, or reviews of any pharmacy, try this:
- Look at recent reviews. Service can change, so last month matters more than three years ago.
- Read the negative reviews and the replies. A clear, helpful reply to a complaint says a lot about a pharmacy.
- Watch for patterns. One late parcel is bad luck. Twenty reviews about the same problem is a pattern.
- Separate a pharmacy complaint from a side effect. A headache after taking a tablet is a medicine effect, not poor service. Delivery, communication and refunds are the pharmacy's job.
Who each service may suit#
LloydsPharmacy may suit you if:#
- You want a regulated UK pharmacy and you've checked its registration on the GPhC register.
- You've read the current standard price for the exact pack you want and you're happy with it.
- You're happy to pay upfront.
Totiva may suit you if:#
- You want the lower price. Totiva was cheaper at every compared pack on 3 November 2026.
- You don't want a subscription.
- You'd rather pay nothing unless your treatment is approved.
- You want support from people, not bots.
Whichever you choose, the right medicine and dose depend on your health. That's a decision for the clinician reviewing your consultation.
Checking any online pharmacy in the UK#
Sildenafil and tadalafil for ED are prescription-only medicines. That means you need a consultation with a prescriber before you can get them. Viagra Connect is a pharmacy medicine. You don't need a prescription, but a pharmacist still has to check it's safe for you.
Before you order from any online pharmacy, check:
- The GPhC register. The pharmacy should be listed with a registration number.
- The inspection report. This is on the GPhC website and shows how the pharmacy did at its last visit.
- That it won't sell prescription medicine without a consultation. If a site lets you buy sildenafil or tadalafil with no questions, walk away.
- That you're not buying from social media. Sellers on social apps or messaging services are not regulated pharmacies. Fake ED tablets are common and can contain the wrong dose or other ingredients.
A consultation does not guarantee you'll get treatment. If a medicine isn't safe for you, a good pharmacy will say no and explain why. Totiva's ED consultation is for men aged 18 to 75.

When to speak to a clinician#
Talk to a GP or pharmacist before using ED treatment if:
- You take nitrates (often used for chest pain) or riociguat (used for high blood pressure in the lungs). These must not be taken with sildenafil or tadalafil.
- You get chest pain, for example when walking or climbing stairs.
- You've recently had a stroke or heart attack.
- You've had an erection that doesn't go away.
- You notice a sudden change in your vision or hearing.
An erection that lasts more than 4 hours, or chest pain during sex, needs urgent help. Stop what you're doing and call 999 or go to A&E.
If none of these apply to you, you can start a free consultation with Totiva. A UK clinician will review your answers, and you only pay if your treatment is approved.
