How the pricing works at each pharmacy#

The price is only part of it. When you pay, whether the price changes after month one, and whether you're signed up to anything all matter too.

Totiva#

Our consultation is free. You only pay if a prescriber approves your treatment. If you're not approved, you pay nothing.

Juniper#

We've confirmed Juniper's standard prices for this comparison. We haven't verified the rest of their payment terms, so we haven't described them here.

Whatever pharmacy you look at, compare 2 numbers: the first-month price and the price from month 2 onwards. If there's a gap, the second number is the one you'll pay for most of your treatment.

Juniper Mounjaro price#

Juniper's standard Mounjaro prices run from £199 for 2.5mg to £339 for 15mg. Totiva's run from £136.88 to £268.88.

Most people start on 2.5mg and move up in steps every 4 weeks or so. Your monthly cost usually goes up as your dose does. That's why the full table matters more than the starting price.

Which is cheaper, Totiva or Juniper?#

Based on standard prices checked in October 2026 at both pharmacies, Totiva was cheaper at every strength we compared. That covers 16 strengths across Mounjaro, Wegovy pens and Wegovy tablets. The gap ranged from £40.12 (Wegovy 2.4mg) to £103 (Wegovy tablets 9mg).

To compare fairly, line up the same medicine at the same strength for the same month. And remember that an introductory offer only applies once.

Does Juniper use a subscription?#

We haven't been able to verify Juniper's current subscription terms, so we've left them out rather than guess. If you're considering any provider, look for whether you're signed up to repeat orders, how to cancel, and whether the price changes after the first month.

Totiva has no subscription. You order each time you need treatment.

Neither approach is right or wrong. Some people like automatic repeat orders so they don't have to think about it. Others prefer to order only when they're ready.

Totiva passed its most recent GPhC inspection. We haven't included Juniper's registration number or inspection result because we couldn't verify them. You can look both up on the GPhC website in a couple of minutes.

Reading reviews of online pharmacies#

We haven't quoted review scores for either pharmacy because scores move. Here's how to read reviews usefully:

• Look at recent reviews. A service can change a lot in a year.
• Read the negative ones, and the replies. How a pharmacy handles problems tells you a lot.
• Watch for patterns. One late delivery is bad luck. Dozens point to a real problem.
• Separate pharmacy complaints from side effects. Nausea on Mounjaro is a medicine effect, not a pharmacy failing.

Checking any online pharmacy in the UK#

Weight loss injections are prescription-only medicines. That means a prescriber has to assess you before you can have them. Before you order anywhere:

• Check the pharmacy is on the GPhC register
• Read its latest inspection report
• Avoid any site that sells these medicines without a proper consultation
• Avoid social media sellers and unlicensed "weight loss pens". The MHRA has warned these can be fake or contaminated

A consultation doesn't mean you'll get a prescription. A prescriber decides whether treatment is safe and suitable for you. Sometimes the answer is a different treatment, or no medicine at all. Totiva treats adults aged 18 to 74.

When to speak to a clinician#

Talk to a clinician before starting, and tell them during your consultation, if you:

• Are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have had pancreatitis, gallbladder problems or an eating disorder
• Have diabetes and take insulin or other medicines that lower blood sugar
• Take the contraceptive pill. Mounjaro can make oral contraceptive pills less effective. The MHRA advises using an extra barrier method, such as condoms, for 4 weeks after starting and for 4 weeks after each dose increase

Get medical help fast if you have severe stomach pain that doesn't go away, especially if it spreads to your back. This can be a sign of pancreatitis. Also get help if you're becoming dehydrated from ongoing vomiting or diarrhoea.
